FY 2026 H-1B Is OVER!!

On March 31, 2025, USCIS announced the completion of the FY 2026 H-1B Initial Registration Selection Process (aka H-1B lottery).

Congratulations to those selected! Filing starts on April 1 and remains open for at least 90 days. Check your selection notice for the exact filing period! Don’t wait—start working with your attorney or consultant immediately!

What If You Haven’t Heard Back?
USCIS only notifies those who are selected. If your lawyer or consultant hasn’t contacted you, now you know why. It is still unclear whether USCIS will conduct a second-round selection. USCIS typically selects twice the annual cap (around 110,000–130,000 registrants) and will not hold another lottery but select from the already-selected pool if some applicants fail to file.
